The club opens its pre-season calendar with the first edition of a tournament set to become a fixture on the Valencian women's basketball scene.
Copa Ciudad de Godella celebrates its first edition with a packed venue
On the first Sunday of September, CB L'Horta Godella hosted the first edition of the Copa Ciudad de Godella, a women's pre-season tournament organised in collaboration with the Diputació de València.
Four teams took part: hosts Acción Informática Godella (1ª División Nacional) and three LF2 sides — TGN Bàsquet Tarragona, Lucentum Alicante and Móstoles — with Móstoles crowned champions after winning both of their matches and being named the tournament's best team.
A high-level day of competition that left a fantastic image of the venue, and one that aims to become a fixed date at the start of every season.
