With FBCV approval, the club has postponed all games scheduled in Godella. The senior women’s season opener in Castelló is provisionally moved to Friday 4 December.
Following the orange-level warning for heavy rain and thunderstorms issued for Sunday 18 October, and in line with today’s ES-ALERT warning of orange and/or red alerts along the coast of Valencia and Alicante, Godella Town Council has adopted a series of preventive measures in the municipality.
For this reason, and with the approval of the Valencian Basketball Federation (FBCV), CB L’Horta Godella announces the following:
Games in Godella: all games scheduled for Sunday at our facilities are postponed. New dates will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.
Senior women’s team (Acción Informática Godella): the Liga Foster’s Hollywood opener against NBF Castelló is provisionally moved to Friday 4 December at 7:30 pm.
Other away games: these have most likely been called off as well, to avoid travel. Since the decision lies with each local council and club, please check with your team’s coach, who will be able to confirm.
We ask everyone to take every precaution and to follow the instructions of the authorities at all times. Above all, wellbeing and prevention come first.
